Fred Vasseur Will Not Be on Track in Monaco Due to Health Reasons

Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur will not be at the circuit on Saturday of the Monaco Grand Prix. According to the statement made by the Italian team on Saturday morning, the 58-year-old French team boss has been admitted under observation at a local medical facility after medical checks he underwent on Friday evening. Vasseur will thus miss FP3 and the qualifying sessions; Deputy Team Principal Jerome D'Ambrosio will lead the team. Whether he will return to the track on Sunday race day is not yet clear.
