A hot transfer development is taking place regarding goalkeeper Andre Onana, who put on a successful performance in the Trabzonspor jersey last season and won the Turkish Cup championship with the Black Sea side.
Trabzonspor Wants to Loan Him for One More Season
The Black Sea club is highly determined to keep the Cameroonian goalkeeper in the squad. Trabzonspor has taken action to keep Onana in the team for another season with a new loan agreement valid until June 2027.
Negotiations Beginning
According to the current planning, Andre Onana is primarily expected to return to Manchester United and participate in the pre-season camp under the English team's new manager, Michael Carrick. However, to finalize the transfer, Trabzonspor will start official negotiations with both the Manchester United management and Onana's management camp.
Onana's Performance Last Season
The 30-year-old experienced goalkeeper, who joined Trabzonspor on loan from Manchester United last September, showed a consistent performance under the Black Sea jersey. Guarding the goal in 33 official matches for Trabzonspor, Onana managed to keep a clean sheet in 6 of these matches and became one of the key figures in bringing the Turkish Cup to the club's museum.
